    Seems like a good, sturdy case... It seems a bit tight on the phone, which, for a case, is a good thing... The con is that it sends to be too tight on the volume buttons so they tend to have pressure on them and react. The phone starts sending off the chime that both up and down volume are being pressed together... Sometimes even when I am not holding or touching the phone at all. Pulling the case looser does stop this, but it does happen more than I like. I am hoping it will stop once the case is worn in a bit.I do love the color, and the feel of the protection. So there's that.

    NOTE: Tempered glass screen protector - useless...applied but all edges weren't sticking so had to removed it. It was not a deal breaker, could be a good add-on for the price.

    The media could not be loaded.
     This case is similar to the style I used for my Pixel 5. Worked great. However, with the Pixel 8 Pro, the top-heavy nature of the phone and case make this an unstable proposition at best. As you can see in my video, the flip stand does not support the phone in the vertical. Horizontal is fine, if a bit uneven due to the extra bulk around the camera lenses.

    The case is sturdy and I liked the idea of a slidable cover for the camera lenses on the back. However, I like to use the built-in stand to support my phone for reading and it can't do that. So, this one is getting returned.

    GOOD: solid protection, sliding cover for camera lenses
    BAD: a bit bulky and the flimsy flip stand won't support the phone in the vertical
