Installation:
The projector comes in a separate box within the main shipping box so it is less likely to take damage, same goes for the screen and frame.
The Frame takes around 4 hours for 2 people to build when taking things very slowly to make sure no mistakes are made. Hanging the screen takes seconds thanks to the wonderful hanging hardware it comes with. It also works on walls that are not very straight as we found out our wall has a good half an inch to an inch of deflection and it doesn't cause any issue.
Setup:
It can take a few attempts to align the picture just right and even then it will not fit the screen 100% perfect (I have an inch top and bottom that the project doesn't fill) but that doesn't impact the quality one bit. Dolby Vision is a nice addition it has now as well so colors pop!
OS:
This is my first time using Android TV and I am not a fan. We have many people in the house and want to swap between profiles on YouTube, but to do that we have to use Google Play app to change profiles. On FireStick it is a simple change in the YouTube app to change profiles. Easy fix as we simply plugged in the FireStick. The rest of the Android OS is very fast and smooth, much more so than FireStick. I am hoping they can fix the profile selection in the future. Also big caveat is it still does not have NetFlix in the built in OS.

Dont get me wrong I figured it would be kinda tedious and tried using their videos on youtube. They have two dudes on the videos who blow through the entire process and dont show you anything of real value. The best part? They turn off the comments so you cant see how frustrated all the other people are from trying to build this POS screen.
Just buy a TCL 98" TV. I wouldnt buy this again if it was on sale for 1,000 dollars.
Picture quality is poor. Dark and not crisp. Manuals adjusting brightness or color has no effect.
Product support Q is a call back within 24-48 hours. How do they expect me to be sitting in front of the unit when they call back.
Screen was a pain to set up - not difficult but will take time to get it right.
Interface easy, and very good app selection. Remote response is swift and predictable. Also very responsive to voice commands.
I can not speak of reliability- only had it for several weeks, but so far no issues.
Overall 2thumbs up. Hopefully cost of this technology will become more accessible.
Top reviews from other countries
After a lot of research, I have decided to purchase my first laser videoprojector to test their reliability. I chose this mid-range model for a all-in-one solution, accepting a few concessions; details below, verdict at the end:
- Screen quality: The screen seems decent. It has a pretty high grain so does reflect the light well. I have noticed it handling good indirect sources of light (due to ALR but also to the grey color) but I have not been fully satisfied with it yet. However, it is a decent screen for an all-in-one solution.
- Image Quality:
- Sharpness: Sharpness is good except in dark scenes where it is hard to see delimitation of objects. you can play with the contrast picture settings to improve it a bit.
- Color: Color is not good out of the box. I prefered a Warm1 color type with a color output set at 60 in dark mode and Standard color with 60 color output in day mode but it really depends on your preferences
- Resolution: The resolution is pretty good for a 4k laser projector with upscaling. However, because of the grain of the screen, the image is not as clear as it could be.
- Motion blur: I was a bit disappointed in this. When scene gets with a lot of movement, it does an ok job but really lacks reactiveness for me. It loses image quality when handling that. And it's a shame.
- Sound: The sound is very good. I already had a home cinema home so I just tested it out and I was suprised by the spatialization of it. I did not test it on Atmos content but it was pretty good on music. I guess you cannot compare its performance with an atmos home theater but if you do not want to spend extra money on a sound system this videoprojector is doing a decent job.
- Luminance performance: Laser luminance was a bit of a disappointment for me. You'll see in the picture, it does handle pretty well with a living room light and in the dark is faaaar enough. But in broad day with indirect light, I lacked a bit of punch for me. There is an automatic luminance adjustement feature but it is terrible though.
Verdict for me: A good model for people who wants an all-in-one pretty versatile solution. If i had to redo it, I would probably wait a bit to have more budget for a videoprojector (like hisense XP2-Pro or Formovie) and a separate screen. But with this budget, it is a pretty good deal.
- Pros: Good sound, good price-quality, good color perfomance after calibrating, pretty good versatility
- Cons: Sharpness in dark scenes is not that good, motion blur could be improved, major improvement needed on automatic laser luminance

Some issues: Fan noise is high but if you have good speakers you may not notice them. Too bad Netflix is not available. The after-sales support by Hisense is horrible. I called twice for support on the installation, but the support guy picked my call and hung up without giving my answers. Looks like they are taking calls from outside US & Canada. They really need to improve the customer experience as the 2 year warranty is useless if the support is not reachable.

Still waiting to see how this gets corrected.
