Our switch dock was no longer connecting when the switch was placed on it- I was told something about using a "non-nintendo" cable to charge the switch while traveling.
I was worried that our switch was done for because we could not get it to connect to our TV, but this adapter works perfectly and we are able to play again as a family! If you are having dock issues, give this a try before you throw in the towel or pay for an expensive repair.

Another review says that an OEM Nintendo Switch power adapter must be plugged into the USB-C port for this product to work with Nintendo Switch. I just wanted to clarify that other power adapters apparently work too, but they will likely need to be high-output. I used an Anker 65-watt adapter originally intended for use with my Steam Deck, which worked.

Also note that the USB-A port is way too close to the HDMI port. If I want to plug in my 8bitdo wireless controller adapter at the same time as the HDMI cable (and you kinda have to have the HDMI cable), I have to use a USB-A cable extender.

And like so many others have said, it feels cheaply made. Can't expect otherwise at this price though.

Other than that, works as advertised!
