[Update 5/13/24: Anker contacted me and offered a full refund on my purchase]I will save you the time searching for my biggest issue with the soundcore Liberty 4 NC:After a couple of weeks, the plastic on the outside of the case just started cracking around the joints (see pictures). I have seen reports of this happening to some so I wonder if it is a defect in the design. This is an issue that I would have returned the unit for if I were still in the return window. On sound quality, the buds sound pretty good and are within what I would consider the "audiofile" tuning range. The buds do have bass but it is not overwhelming and does not bleed into the mids very much. On a first listen the treble is a bit hot for me and usually trouble is not an issue for my ears. For reference, I love Hifiman tuning and the DT1990s are not too treble-y for me so I do think that the treble may be a bit much on these for many. The mid-range is underwhelming but not horrible. Overall the sound quality is fine for my listening (mostly progressive metal). One big issue I have with the sound is that these do not seem to get very loud. I have owned many true wireless buds in the past, most recently the Earfun Free Pro 2, and have never really had an issue with volume. With these I really have to crank it to about 80-90% and I am not really a loud listener. This is about where I listen to my Letshouer S12.I am a person who feels perfectly comfortable with Apple's AirPod/earpod fit and these are just a tad uncomfortable in comparison. I think they're a bit too convex for my particular ears and this does seem to have an effect on the seal that I am able to get. In particular, no matter what ear tip size I choose, even in multiple materials like foam, these just never seem to seal totally right for me.Don't try to EQ these too much either, distortion comes very quickly if you are boosting any frequencies (especially bass) and, considering that the volume leaves a bit to be desired, it is difficult to simply cut frequencies because that seems to take away from the overall volume.Overall I would say that these buds are just alright and in the future I will probably look elsewhere for a higher quality set.

I have a few Anker/Soundcore devices and these don't disappoint. Superb sound; deep bass, great mids and excellent highs. Outstanding battery life, excellent Bluetooth pairing, excellent app support and very user friendly. Lots of customization options via the app, you'll love it! Noise cancellation its outstanding, very effective.

The only thing I didn't like was the build quality, they don't feel premium and by premium I mean like the Soundcore Life Q10 build quality, which I have for over 5 years now. The plastic feels thin, specially the charging case. You get the sense they will break easily, but time will tell on durability.

Other than that, these earbuds are perfect. Great sound, comfortable and lightweight, excellent app interface and connectivity, very user friendly, outstanding battery life and they look gorgeous, and all that in a very affordable price range.

As someone who spends countless hours working and listening to music at home, I've tried my fair share of earphones. But none have come close to the exceptional performance of these earphones. The audio quality is simply superb. The drivers deliver rich, well-balanced sound with deep bass, crisp highs, and clear mids. Music comes alive with every note, making it an immersive and enjoyable experience. The passive noise isolation is remarkable. The earphones effectively block out external noise, allowing me to focus on my work or music without distractions. This makes them ideal for noisy environments or when I need to concentrate. For the exceptional quality and performance they offer, these earphones are an incredible value. They're a must-have for anyone who demands the best audio experience for work and home entertainment.

Overall, these earphones are an exceptional choice for anyone looking for a high-quality, comfortable, and versatile pair of earphones for both work and home use. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking an immersive and enjoyable audio experience.

Coming from a set of Bose quiet comfort headphones, apple air pods 2, and mifos o5, these Liberty 4 nc's were a very pleasant surprise. Upon opening the box you get a charge cord, the case, the notice document, and of course the user manual which is almost lego like in it's universal simplicity. Read and re-read it and download the app stat!!. The app is where the magic happens. First things first, you get adapt the earbuds specifically to your ear by taking a sort of hearing test with them on in the apps. And for a guy with hearing aids, the adjustability of the listening experience from high to low frequencies is magnificent since it is so risky wearing hearing aids during the gym. So to go without those in and simply wear these and get an even higher quality audio than my headphones and hearing aids combined. That, is a fantastic simplification for me. Only bugaboo sometimes the noise cancellation doesn't automatically go to max so you have to go into the app to make that selection since there are three levels to it. But once you have it selected to the highest setting the world goes radio silent around you and you can really focus on on your audiobook or Spotify playlist. The Liberty 4nc are pretty light weight similar in a sense to gen one and possibly gen 2 airpod pros and I would say the construction reminds me of mifos o5 buds with a high quality budget-ish earbud experience. Mic seems to be sufficient haven't had issues on phone calls yet. Size is comparable to the new gen air pods. Controls are all done by lightly taping the device, so learn the the tapping sequence from the manual. All in all this has been a great surprise coming in a such a great price ! Definitely would recommend

If you are looking at these, you've probably heard all of the glowing reviews here, on YouTube, and on many websites. Are they accurate? Here's a review from a unbiased user.
Sound: the sound quality on these is superb. I didn't like them much out of the box, but after going through the HEAR ID and the customization test that follows (very cool!), it made these things really shine. Ironically this is one area where the reviews actually understate how good they are, often ranking them well below the Liberty 3 Pro (L3P), which I also own. Although I do give a slight edge to that more expensive pair, it's not by much. Even then, you'd have to do an A/B test to hear the difference. Given that that the L3P and L4P have dual drivers and this pair doesn't, this is a big win for the Liberty 4 NC (L4NC). 5/5
Comfort: these are light enough and small enough to cause zero discomfort even after extended listening. This is my biggest gripe against the L3P, and for this reason, I don't use those too much. For some reason, the left earbud fits me better than the right one. This only happens on this pair - and I have over a dozen pairs of TWS. However this is such an individual category I would take it any rating a grain of salt - your mileage can, and WILL, vary. 4/5
Battery: When you read the specs, you'll probably wonder if they can be that good. They are. Combined with the fast-charge feature, along with Qi wireless charging, this is an easy one: 5/5
ANC: These are even better than the ANC on the L3P. I can't hear a difference between these and my Sony XM4, which were about triple the price: 5/5
Transparency: Alas, this is where the party ends. The transparency mode on these ranks near the bottom of ALL my earbuds (that have this feature), even my older ones like the JLAB Epic ANC. Still, it's better than not having it at all, and there's no hiss. 2/5
Mics: This is mixed. I've had some good feedback when on the phone with these, and some people said I sounded terrible. Since I don't have a consensus, I'll split it: 3/5
Feature Set: in addition to what was covered in the above categories, these have: Multipoint, Find My Buds, Wind Reduction, responsive EQ incl. tons of presets, pocketability, vast color options, robust app support, and pretty much everything else save for heart/fitness tracking, this is another easy one: 5/5.
Overall: Even though the average of these scores is less, the WEIGHTED average is 4.5/5. These buds really are impressive for their price and would hold their own against buds that cost even much more than these. The 4-Stars is because there aren't 1/2-star options so I rounded up, but they're easily: 4.5/5

5.0 out of 5 stars These are helping me reconnect with music!
Reviewed in Canada on September 23, 2023
    Color: Velvet BlackVerified Purchase
I think these sound great, they are comfortable, and the quality of the ANC and voice calls is good too. I like the case design as well. Worked well in the office and the gym alike. I'm impressed with the overall experience so far after only a couple days of ownership. Will update down the road once they've had some miles.

    ***update time***
It's about a month after purchasing and I find myself reaching for these whenever I leave the house, go to work, hit to gym, and quite often when I am at home too! Push button to open case, pop em in my ears, and boom! Instantly connected and sound is flowing! Radical!

They sound really really good out of the box. I didn't even need to eq them or do any adjustments, they are flat out fantastic.
I found the fitment good with the largest earpieces, thanks for sending 3 different sizes.

The companion app is nice and clean, all the features work well. I can't believe the quality of the noise cancelling, it's really good. I wear these nearly every night in the kitchen while cooking with the hood fan running, and I'm rocking out. They don't feel overly pressurized like many overear cans do. Transparency mode is new to me, and I think it's really cool. I'll use this when walking about town or if in a place and I want to stay attentive to my surroundings. Great feature and it works well, with the exception of wind noise. When it's windy is just use normal mode.

These are also great for hands free calling. Works as intended! No complaints from the other end of the line.

Also, battery life? Awesome! I've charged the case once since purchase. Holy moly batman.

If I had to complain about anything.... I have 2 notes:
    1) Wind and transparency mode don't mix well. The mode boosts the wind noise. But I just go normal and it's fine, doesn't bother me.
    2) Not great fitment in the gym sometimes. Only when I am lifting heavy and exerting a lot of force or effort, I find these start to become loose and can fall out. Barbell goodmornings are a reoccuring culprit.

Otherwise, these have been such a joy to have in my life. I'm listening to so much more music now that I have a compact hassle-free solution , and that is a joy. If you enjoy music, clean hassle-free functional performance, and great battery life, these are top notch! Also the price is fantastic, compared to a market that is inflated with brand name price tags.

I am not an audiophile, but I do enjoy good quality music listening experiences. And I am biased towards bassy earbuds. And these don't disappoint at all.
    Pros:
    1. Sound quality is so good (see comparisons with other earphones at the bottom).
    2. Bass is really good quality and doesn't spread out and make the overall sound muddy
    3. May not be the most boomy bass, but is still very good, better than Airpords Pro 2 which is at almost 3 times the price
    4. Battery is wow! Haven't done a full charge to empty test, but the thing holds charge for ever! Also, the case fast charges the buds.
    5. Easily connects to iPhone and Macbook and even Android devices and connection is as stable as it comes.
    6. Now, I don't know how claiming warranty will be, but they gave 18 months usual warranty plus 6 months extra for free, taking it to a 2 year warranty so, peace of mind
    7. Soundcore app - there are 22 preset equalizers. On top of that, there is an option called HearID which runs a set of interactive tests to create a custom EQ for you. If that is not enough, you can customize this HearID eq in 2 more ways - manually setting different channel amplification, intelligently combining HearID EQ curve with your favorite preset EQ. Basically, do a hear id test, and if you find it a little less bassy, select the option to combine hearID with Bass Boost preset EQ.
    8. Multi point connectivity is decent. It works, but sometimes, it takes a bit of time to recognize which device is playing and switch to it
    9. Magnets in the case are very strong, bring the buds close and they snap into place. Same with the opening-closing mechanism. If you keep the case on a flat surface and press the button, the buds get raised towards you a bit, which gives it a premium feel.
    10. Premium - it looks, feels and sounds premium, you won't be disappointed
    11. Call quality is good
    12. ANC is really good especially considering the price. Most people won't need more noise cancellation than this.
    13. Controls and Customization: Touch controls are good, and the soft sounds that play to let you know the touch has registered are premium. You have single, double and triple taps AND long press. So 10/10 on customization. In ear detection though slow, works fine.

    Cons:
    1. Not extremely heavy, but it takes a bit of time to get adjusted to the weight and size of the buds. Just an issue in the beginning I feel.
    2. Can get dirty easily if you get it in white
    3. Case is not the smallest, even though it is lightweight. Pics added with Magic Mouse as a reference.
    4. The app doesn't show charge percentage, only bars. Probably not needed as the charge lasts for ever though

    Comparisons:
    1. Airpods Pro 2 have slightly better sound stage and quality, but definitely not as much as the almost 3x price tag suggests. Multi point is better on Airpods atleast on Apple devices. I better not comment on ANC as I am not a fan of ANC as a feature itself(yes I am a rare species these days). Bass is definitely punchier than the Airpods. There are certain bass rumbles that give you goosebumps when using the Soundcore ones.
    2. Sony WF-1000XM4: These where very bad in volume on iPhone atleast. At 2.5X the price, the XM4s are definitely not a better pick than the Liberty NCs in any metric
    3. Oppo Enco X2: Sound quality is comparable, but bass is definitely more punchy in the Liberty NCs. Other metrics can go either way.
    4. Crossbeats Torq 1.0: Niche comparison, but these underrated beasts delivered very punchy bass compromising music quality. Liberty NCs have a little less punchy bass than the Torqs, but they make it up on the quality of bass and overall sound quality.

Bonus: Try the song “Pista the Run Anthem” on Youtube on the Liberty NCs after you do a HearID or by selecting Soundcore Signature or Bass Boost EQs. The absolute beginning of the track has a rumbly bit and you will be blown away.

I am not an audiophile, but I do enjoy good quality music listening experiences. And I am biased towards bassy earbuds. And these don't disappoint at all.
    Pros:
    1. Sound quality is so good (see comparisons with other earphones at the bottom).
