Fairphone 6 önceki sürümü Fairphone 5 bile gerisinde teknik özellikleri destekliyor ve Telefon bu haliyle çıkacaksa hiç çıkmasın daha iyi. Usb Type 3 olunca harici ekran yani HDMI ve Displayport desteği sunuyordu ve yeni üründe Usb Type C ancak 2.0 olunca beş para etmez.
